Retired OSHP Sgt. Benjamin Seabolt
Seabolt Investigations, LLC is owned and operated by Retired Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Benjamin Seabolt, who holds a Class (A) license through the Ohio Department of Public Safety – Private Investigator and Security Guard Services division, for both Private Investigation and Private Security.
During the course of his career as a State Trooper, Benjamin was assigned to OSHP’s Criminal Interdiction Units for both Southern and Central Ohio, which focused on illegal drugs, weapons and money investigations. He was the recipient of the OSHP’s “Criminal Patrol” award every year of his career, including in 2009 when he lead the state of Ohio in felony level arrests.
Benjamin was also the recipient of the OSHP’s “Ace” award for the recovery of multiple stolen vehicles. He served at the Chillicothe Post, before transferring to the Lancaster Post where he was promoted to a supervisory Sergeant prior to retirement.
